World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enchantments.
They also provide bonuses and improvements. They can be purchased through the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapons
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon could also gain a variety of upgrade components that provide additional attributes or effects, and some have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the item has an upgrade slot available and meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, however it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool on an item.
In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times based on the weapon's level.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade it can be modified to give different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. A variety of these upgrades can be used at once, and their effects vary depending on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage that a weapon inflicts.
It is generally recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that are extremely efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, for example, an increase in damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases an item of armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for any type of armor, but certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by just a little. However, some upgrade components can offer significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that can be beneficial, such as the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. For instance for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59 and 67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77, and it goes on.

The water bottle, common and thick potions, as well as difficult potions, now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness have been added. There are lingering potions available that can be brewed with splash potions or dragon breath and a thick pot with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Trinket

This does not stack with Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have a random effect on the trinket either prolonging its life or enhancing its effects. You can reorge a Trinket multiple times as often as you want, though it will always have an impact that is different from the one you had when you forged it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
